The Ecuadorian Panama is a delicate, hand-woven hat made from Toquilla palm fibers. Due to its unique structure and precision, its head should not be crushed, as this can permanently damage the shape and destroy the intricately woven fabric. To maintain its elegance and durability, it is worth storing it in appropriate conditions and treating it with care.
To choose the right size hat, measure the circumference of your head. Use a soft tailor's tape measure and wrap it around your head, just above your ears and about 1-2 cm above your eyebrows. Compare the result of the measurement in centimetres with the size chart. It is important that the hat is not too tight or loose - it should fit comfortably but not compress.
Hats with a classic sweatband are offered in sizes 54 to 62cm.
